Built for the sides that play every week

Riverside Sunday League Parkside Rangers Northgate Athletic Dockside United

Sunday league sides, five-a-side regulars and midweek kickabouts.

Why teams switch

Stop chasing replies. Start playing.

Most teams lose half the week to unanswered polls. Here is what changes the day you switch.

Before

  • Polls buried under two hundred messages
  • No idea who is actually turning up
  • Last-minute dropouts with no backup
  • Nobody remembers who played, or who scored
  • The same argument about who is driving

With FootMatch Connect

  • Priority waves invite your regulars first
  • A live confirmed count and an automatic waiting list
  • The waiting list promotes the moment someone drops
  • Every appearance, goal and rating recorded
  • Carpools assigned before anyone leaves the house

Features

Everything a team needs, in one app.

Priority-wave invitations

Your regulars get first refusal.

Players are invited in three waves — primary, secondary, then tertiary. Open the next wave when you need more bodies, and everyone gets a push notification the moment their turn comes around.

  • Primary, secondary and tertiary waves
  • Automatic waiting list once the match fills
  • Push notification when your wave opens
  • Admin override for late additions

Matchday control

Everything from kickoff to full time.

Publish the match, build both sides, pick who wears the bibs and update the score as it happens. Guest players cover the ones who never sign up in time.

  • Two-team lineup builder with bibs
  • Live score updates
  • Guest players for last-minute fill-ins
  • Draft, publish, start, finish or cancel

Carpools, sorted

Nobody gets left at home.

Admins assign drivers from the players who have a car, with up to four passengers each. Everyone sees their ride on the match page, so there is no scramble on the morning.

  • Drivers matched from players who have a car
  • Up to four passengers per car
  • Visible on the match page and your transport tab
  • Assigned by the admin, so no double-booking

Stats and teammate ratings

A record that actually lasts.

When the whistle goes, rate the teammates you played alongside out of five. Appearances, results, goals and clean sheets build a profile that follows every player.

  • Rate teammates one to five after full time
  • Wins, draws and losses
  • Goals for, goals against and clean sheets
  • Average rating and full match history

Comparison

Not another group chat. Not a generic scheduler.

Built for one thing only: getting eleven a side on the pitch every week.

Testimonials

Teams that made the switch do not go back.

How organisers are running their weeks differently.

“The priority waves alone are worth it. Our regulars get first refusal, and the waiting list fills the last two spots without me sending a single message.”

Sam Okoro

Organiser, Riverside Sunday League

“The lineup builder is a game changer. I set both sides and the bibs on the way over, and everyone knows who they are playing for before we are out of the car park.”

Danny Whelan

Captain, Parkside Rangers

“Carpools used to be a twenty-message argument every week. Now I assign the drivers on Thursday and nobody asks about it again.”

Marcus Reid

Coach, Northgate Athletic

“Setup took about ten minutes. No import, no spreadsheet — I just added the lads and published the first match the same evening.”

Priya Raman

Organiser, Thursday Five-a-side

“The ratings turned into the best part of the week. The lads take it far too seriously and turnout has gone up because of it.”

Tom Fletcher

Secretary, Old Boys FC

“We switched off the group chat six months ago. Dropouts still happen, but the waiting list catches them now and we have not played short since.”

Aidan Cole

Manager, Dockside United

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything worth knowing before your first match.

How do priority waves work?

Every player on a team has a priority: primary, secondary or tertiary. When you publish a match you open the primary wave first, so your most reliable players get first refusal. If you still need bodies, open the secondary and then the tertiary wave. Each one sends a push notification to the players it unlocks.

What happens when a match is full?

Anyone who confirms after the last spot has gone joins the waiting list. If a confirmed player withdraws, the first person on the waiting list is promoted automatically and notified.

Can I sort out my own lift?

Not at the moment. Carpools are assigned by the match admin, who picks drivers from the players who have marked that they have a car and adds up to four passengers to each. You will see your assigned car on the match page and in your transport tab.

How do I sign in?

With your Google account. There is no separate password to remember and no email or phone sign-up to work through.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in your browser, but you can add it to your home screen and it will open full screen like a native app, with push notifications for invites and match updates.

Does it work without signal?

Partly. Recently loaded matches and teams stay readable when you lose connection, and you will see a notice that you are viewing offline data. Confirming, rating and any other change needs a connection.
